My inspirations nearly always begin with a colour encountered on my travels. I love putting together combinations and contrasts over layers of thick mixed medium using an array of tools to create different effects on the canvas. I find solace in creating the fine details of the “Coral Gem” Collection and designing new tools and patterns that will weave magic when painted and printed in a certain direction. This tells a story and speaks to the owner in its own individual way through nooks, crevices and breathing spaces. Each piece has just three patterns, squares, ‘y’ and ‘i’, representing my own personal journey of not fitting into the status quo.

The ‘Turning Point’ Collection represents the moment when the individual takes back control of their life and turns things around. It pays respect to mental illness and the overwhelming effect of society pressures that drain the life and colour from you. The only colour left on these animals is in their eyes.
